SkyDrive, a a Japanese ‘flying car’ developer, performed a demonstration flight of ‘SkyDrive SD-05’ flying car in EXPO Vertiport, a port in the Osaka Kansai Expo venue. The flying car was operated automatically and remotely for about four minutes and at altitude of about five meters. 

SkyDrive was selected as a flying car operator for Osaka Kansai Expo Future Society Showcase Exhibition. The test flights begun in its test field in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture in 2024. Passenger point-to-point flight or circulation flight is slated for this coming summer.
