Japanese start-up Payn, automatic cancellation fee collection system provider, sends a digital gift to a customer who cancels a hotel or a restaurant

Payn, an automatic cancellation fee collection system provider, has tied up with giftee, an e-gift platform, to send a digital gift to a customer who cancels a hotel or a restaurant.

The digital gift programs, like ‘giftee Cafe Box,’ offered by giftee are used for the new service. 

It is true that business operators face troubles with customers in no-show or last-minute cancelation, but they want to build friendly relationship with customers who are forced to cancel bookings under an unavoidable circumstance. The digital gift is expected to be a service to keep in touch with them as the future customers.
