Based on the official statistics of four East Asian markets in September 2015, China and Korea reduced Japanese visitors by 5.1% year on year to 208,100 and by 19.9% to 157,300 respectively, while Taiwan and Hong Kong increased those by 3.7% to 145,800 and by 6.8% to 104,400.
Among the four East Asian markets, Hong Kong resulted in the highest growth for the first time since November 2013. Korea restored Japanese visitors from the monthly reduction of 52.6% in July 2015, and China had stably maintained 200,000 or more Japanese visitors since May 2015.
