Japanese overseas travelers up 6.5% to 1.65 million in July 2019

Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that the number of Japanese overseas travelers in July 2019 was up 6.5% to year on year to 1,659,200. 

The total for the first seven months of 2019 was up 8.3% to 11,201,500. Supposing an average growth rate of 2.2% every month after August, the goal of 20 million Japanese overseas travelers will be accomplished.
