Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that Japanese overseas travelers were up 3.8% year on year to 1,320,000 in June 2017 (preliminary figures), and the result for the first half of 2017 totaled 8,406,500 (+6.3%), although the monthly result in April 2017 was down for the first time since May 2016.
