Visitor ranking for major leisure facilities in Japan 2015, released by Sogo Unicom, a leisure industry media, finds that Tokyo Disneyland was the top with 31,377,000 visitors (+0.3%) in the theme park category, followed by Universal Studio Japan in Osaka with 12,700,000 visitors (+21%) and Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki with 2,794,000 visitors (+12.8%).
Top five theme parks are as follows:
The No.1 amusement park was Suzuka Circuit in Mie with 1,989,000 visitors (+1.3%), followed by Yomiuri Land in Kanagawa with 1,342,000 visitors (+8.8%) and Hirakata Park in Osaka with 1,093,070 (+14.9%).

The most popular zoo was Ueno Zoological Garden in Tokyo with 3,693,757 visitors (+5.8%), followed by Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya with 2,271,248 visitors (+1.9%) and Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido with 1,651,430 visitors (+0.1%).

In the aquarium category, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium became No.1, as it increased visitors by 6.5% to record-high 3,230,000 visitors. The 2nd was Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan with 2,190,000 visitors (-9.6%), followed by Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium with 1,967,223 visitors (-3.6%).
Top five aquariums are as follows:
The top museum was The National Art Center Tokyo with 2,620,350 visitors (+29.2%), followed by Tokyo National Museum with 1,889,040 visitors (+42.9%). National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation or Miraikan ranked 5th, remarkably increasing visitors 71.1% to 1,466,367.
