Yahoo! search big data about onsen destinations in Japan, provided by Yahoo Data Solution, show that the highest growth rate in searches in comparison between August to October 2024 and a year ago was seen in Shirabu Onsen, Yamagata with the rate of 123.8%, followed by Hijiori Onsen, Yamagata (115.4%), Shuzenji Onsen, Shizuoka (114.6%), Awara Onsen, Fukui (113.4%) and Kitsuregawa Onsen, Tochigi (112.2%).

The highest growth keyword in searches about ‘services in an accommodation’ was ‘all inclusive,’ searched by 3 times more users in October 2024 compared to January 2023.
