Based on official statistical data for June 2019 the number of Japanese travelers increased by 6.0 for Australia (reaching 24,600), but decreased by 12.8% for Canada (reaching 20,500) and by 6.2% for New Zealand (reaching 3,800) on a year-on-year basis.
Japanese travelers to Australia have increased every month, including a 22.8% increase in April 2019, since the slight monthly reduction in January 2019. Although Japanese travelers to Canada and New Zealand resulted in year-on-year growths in April 2019, the markets saw monthly reductions in June again.
