‘JTB BÓKUN,’ an activity booking management system,’ has completed API integration with ‘byFood.com,’ a food experience booking platform for inbound travelers to Japan. The API integration allows contract operators of byFood.com to confirm realtime food tour inventories and prices registered on ‘JTB BÓKUN.’
The linkage is expected to enable food tour providers on byFood.com to make their operations more effective. About 60 tours are available on the API integration, and lineups will be increased from now on.
JTB invested to Table Cross, the byFood.com operator in April 2023 in order to promote gastronomy tourism for inbound travelers. byFood.com provides inbound travelers with booking functions for restaurants, food tours or cooking lessons in English.
