JAL announced that it will launch daily flights between Haneda and Doha with Boeing 787-9 in the summer of 2024, as Japanese airline’s first direct service to Middle East. Flight schedules or start of bookings will be announced later.
JAL expects to carry transit passengers from Doha to major cities in Middle East, Africa or Latin America in partnership with Qatar Airways, an oneworld member. JAL will continue the code-share agreement with Qatar Airways on Qatar Airways’ Doha-Haneda and Narita flights.
