JR East will launch a corporate co-creation platform service in January 2025 that will link JR EAST digital pass Suica with digital services from various companies and other organizations.
This service will utilize blockchain technology, which encrypts and decentralizes data transaction history, making it possible to maintain highly secure and accurate transaction records. JR EAST will release its own blockchain and the "JRE WALLET" app on January 10, 2025, as a gateway for users to use the service.
A user provides its personal Suica information on JRE WALLET. while co-creation companies will provide services and experience value tailored to each user based on the behavior and personality of the user as seen from their Suica usage.
JR EAST plans to extend the co-creation services to shopping, communication, certification, entertainment and so forth in addition to mobility and life solutions
