DeNA Travel, a Japanese OTA, has recently opened its official LINE account to provide LINE users with opportunities to search or book overseas travel in the LINE Talk. In addition, ID connection between the LINE account and DeNA Travel started on October 4 2016 to add functions to propose products suitable for users and to provide special coupons.
The business tie-ups are based on LINE Business Connect, a corporate service offered by the Japan’s biggest communication app. A LINE user can take advantage of the services by adding the DeNA Travel account in the friend list.
DeNA Teavel plans to increase overseas destinations for the service and to deal with air tickets. Also, new functions, like search by theme or individual consultation, will be added.
