JTB has launched ‘Thank You New Style Travel for You,’ which is a travel product gift for corporate incentive travel, amid suspension of group incentive travels or corporate events under the COVID-10 crisis. An opportunity to travel in Japan will be presented to an individual employee, not conventional group travel, and an employee can use the travel gift whenever he or she wants to go.
The JTB survey illustrates that many companies are looking for alternative ideas to a group travel or an event to motivate employees. To meet the new demand, JTB has developed the the New Normal-based product avoiding contacts with different people as much as possible, including chartered onsen or dinner in a room, for instance.
JTB has first start selling four different plans covering 90 lodges in selected driving destinations in western Japan, offering the prices from 30,000 JPY to 100,000 JPY a room with dinner and breakfast.
