Based on official statistical data for June 2017, the number of Japanese travelers increased by 7.4% for Australia (reaching 21,700), but decreased by 7.8% for Canada (reaching 27,887) and by 10.6% for New Zealand (down to 4,176) on a year-on-year basis.
The number of Japanese travelers to Australia for the first half of 2017 was up 5.6%, reaching 189,000. However, reductions were seen for two months in a row for Canada.
