M3 Career, a medical human resource provider, has begun testing operation of a new online medical treatment service ‘Hotel de Doctor 24’ for foreigners staying in a hotel who are concerned about health conditions during traveling in Japan.
The 24-hours medical treatment is provided by ‘Hotel de Doctor 24’ partner clinics, and a doctor introduces a pharmacy near a hotel for drug prescription. 22 different languages translation are available.
The full-scale service is scheduled to begin in February 2025 primarily for light symptoms, such as cold or dizziness.

Data say that 120,000 international visitors per month experience unwell health in traveling in Japan, and out of them about 60% have cold symptoms. However, accommodations have issues to treat such foreigners in terms of lack of staff and communication in different languages.
