Web Equity 2017, the website value evaluation for 242 major companies in Japan conduced by Tribeck Brand Strategies, reveals that the top company overall was ANA with a value of 100.9 billion JPY, followed by JAL (92.3 billion JPY) and Toyota (68.2 billion JPY). JTB was ranked 19th with a value of 30 billion JPY.
Web Equity is a program defining the contributions of a website to a business in terms of four effects: contact, good impression, sales, and loyalty. The value of each website was calculated based on a questionnaire survey and financial data. The questionnaire survey was conducted online in June 2017, and included 21,372 valid answers all over Japan.
