Recruit Life Style has recently announced that Apply Pay on iphone7 can be used for payment on Jalan.net, one of the leading Japanese OTAs, when a user books accommodation with the iphone application.
Without inputting credit card number, payment on Apply Pay completes. All a user has to do is to touch Touch ID. In Japan, Apple Pay can also be used for payment on Suica, the money card issued by JR, which can be used for not only JR railway but also shopping in Suica member shops.
Recruit Life Style stresses that they have decided to introduce Apply Pay because the system ensures high-level safety and personal information protection.
Recruit Life Style will begin offering the new service for booking accommodations with the online payment system available in October 2016.
