Expedia’s overseas travel trend survey finds that searches about overseas destinations for this summer by Japanese users are 227% more than a year ago. The most-searched city is Seoul, followed by Taipei. Long-haul destinations, such as Paris (3rd), Los Angeles (6th) and London (8th) are among the top 10.
Paris was ranked 2nd in terms of surge of searches in comparison with this years’ Golden Week period.

The survey also finds that searches on filters of kitchen, laundry or drying machine for long stay and of ocean view room or pool for beach resort increased.
