JAL will expand its pre-cancellation service of in-flight meals ‘JAL Ethical Choice Meal Skip Option’ from Southeast Asia and East Asia routes today to all international routes in December 2022. JAL expects that the service helps food loss reduce and also gives passengers time enough for sleep on night flights.
The service is part of ‘TABLE FOR TWO Program’ addressed by NPO ‘TABLE FOR TWO International.’ JAL gives a certain amount of contribution per cancelled in-flight food to the organization to support school meals in developing countries.
