Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that the number of Japanese outbound travelers in February 2025 was up 20.7% year on year to 1,181,200, still 23.0% fewer travelers than February in 2019 (1,534,792 travelers)
The outbound travel market continued being affected by weaker yen and rise in prices in Japan.
