Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that the number of Japanese overseas travelers was up 6.0% year on year, reaching 18,954,000 in 2018, adding 1,629,300 in December 2018 (+10.9%), The growth rate in 2018 was higher than 4.5% in 2017, marking annual plus since 2016.
