H.I.S., one of the biggest travel companies in Japan, has just started providing its cloud translation service ‘H.I.S. ×YAQS’ for tourism product suppliers with more foreign travelers, including accommodations or restaurants, in tie-up with the cloud translation provider YAQS.
The service has a function to match a translator with a tourism facility on cloud, offering three service courses depending on translator’s experience, budget and purpose. The minimum price is four JPY per word. This is an alternative option in addition to conventional two types of high quality and high cost translation by human and low quality and low cost by automatic translation.
The business flow from order to deliver completes on cloud, and 12 different languages are available. In the case of around 200 words, it is possible to deliver a translated text within a few hours.
