TripAdviser announced that the most popular tourist spot in Japan for international travelers based on word of mouth was Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto for four years in a row. The second was Akiba Fukuro Cafe (Owl Cafe) in Tokyo, moving up from 9th last year, followed by Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
The first appearances in upper ranking included Magic Bar French Drop in Osaka (22nd), ROR Comedy in Osaka (23rd), Nabana no Sato in Mie Prefecture (27th).
