Based on official statistical data for September 2017, the number of Japanese travelers increased by 0.6% for Australia (reaching 34,100), but decreased by 10.8% for Canada (down to 36,700) and by 2.5% for New Zealand (down to 6,300) on a year-on-year basis.
Japanese travelers to Australia had increased year on year since May 2017. The reduction rate for Canada downscaled to 10%. Japanese travelers for New Zealand again fell into minus in September from plus in August.
