ANA and JAL announced on July 29 that they will launch Narita-Vladivostok services. JAL has already revealed that it will begin serving daily flights with Boeing 737-800 in the next summer schedule, and also appealed connectivity with S7, an oneworld member. JAL code-shares with S7 on the S7's operating Narita-Vladivostok route.
ANA does not announce flight details including flight schedules and aircraft yet. A launch day is slated for March 2020. JAL has announced it will operate Boeing 737-800 for flights from Narita at 11:20 and from Vladivostok at 16:25.
The Russian government introduced an electric visa system in Far East Russia for Japanese travelers in August 2017.
