Royal Holdings of Japan, an operator of Richmond Hotels and restaurant chain ‘Royal Host,’ and Minor Hotels, a Bangkok-based luxury hotel and resort residence operator, will launch a joint venture ‘Royal Minor Hotels’ investing 50% each in March 2025.
They will enter the luxury hotel market of Japan with a strategy to open 21 hotels in the name of three Minor’s brands of ‘Anantara,’ ‘Avani’ and ‘Tivoli’ by 2035.
54 Anantara Hotels & Resorts are operated primarily for luxury travelers in 26 countries in Asia, and Avani brand develops 43 hotels in 25 countries targeting Millennials and Generation Z. Tivoli brand features unique concepts in 21 hotels in eight countries.
Minor Hotels is a member of Global Hotel Alliance, an independent hotel brand alliance, and joins its loyalty program ‘GHA DISCOVERY’ with about 30 million members.
