Japanese IT solution provider for accommodation launches a function to connect with overseas booking management systems

tripla, a Japanese IT solution provider for accommodation, has started offering a new connectivity hub function. This allows the accommodation reservation engine "tripla Book," which has been deployed mainly in Japan, to connect with reservation management systems widely used by accommodation facilities overseas, making it easier to expand various services provided domestically to overseas destinations.

tripla users can post their accommodation plans to various travel agencies across countries and also promotes the centralization of membership organizations and cross-border sales promotion actions.

The channel managers that centrally manage accommodation management from the reservation sites used by accommodation facilities are often different in Japan and overseas, and they cannot connect to major channel managers overseas, so they have had the issue of not being able to sell "tripla Book," which has already been introduced to about 3,000 facilities in Japan, overseas.

The connectivity hub simplifies collaboration with channel managers that are highly used in each country. It has become possible to connect services that can be deployed by each group company to each other. "tripla Book" can now be linked to channel managers that are already linked to the booking engines of group companies, making the various services offered in Japan available overseas.

Specifically, the booking engine "Pelican Hotel Solution," which was previously provided by group company Endurance, is linked to various channel managers including “SiteMinder,” which has been introduced to 44,500 facilities in 150 countries.

tripla is currently working on a collaboration with South Korea's Hotel Story to expand the South Korean market.
