Royal Road Ginza, the JTB retailer for high-quality travel products, has begun selling ‘Whole Ski Slopes Chartering Plan’ for foreign skiers in Minakami Akasawa Ski Resort, Gunma Prefecture since November 4 2015.
JTB decided to create the plan because skiing in Japan is getting popular among foreign travelers, and for travelers from countries without snow particularly skiing is preferred as an otherworldly experience.
For the plan, targeting ski beginners mainly, Minakami Akasawa Ski Resort has been selected because of its location near to Tokyo.
The lowest price for the plan is 129,000 yen per person for two-day and one-night trip (applicable to a group of five to eight). The chartering time is designated from 11:00 to 16:00 on the first day. The plan includes stay in 140 years old ryokan and a variety of local experiences, such as making of soba noodle or local craft arts. JTB expects that the plan is a good opportunity for special personal events as well, such as birthday or marriage proposal.
