NAVITIME JAPAN, a Japan’s leading navigation app provider, began linking to Omio, a transportation search service provider, on ‘NAVITIME Transit’ app. It allows NAVITIME Transit users to book and purchase train tickets in U.K., Italy and Spain.
When a NAVITIME Transit user taps a purchase button on a train route displaying on a search result screen, the user moves to the Omio app and can book and purchase a selected train ticket in Japanese.
NAVITIME JAPAN plans to extend availability of the service to other European countries and North America in the future.
