The Rakuten Research survey on cashless trend in Japan finds that the most-used payment means in daily shopping except online shopping is cash with a share of 90% (multiple answers), followed by credit card with 82.5% and electronic money card with 43.4%.
By age, one-fourth of 20’s and 30’s males use payment app on smart phone.
