Tobu Railway announced that the private railway company will begin serving a luxury bus ‘SPACIA X NIKKO CRUISER’ in Nikko area, a popular tourist destination, in October 2025, connecting with the railway’s special express train ‘SPACIA X’ between Tokyo and Nikko.
The bus is configured with comfortable 18 seats, which can be fitted for a small group as charter operation. Tobu railway intends to enrich transportation based in Tobu Nikko Station and create a high-end tour in Nikko area with the bus.
Tobu Group is developing Nikko as an international eco-resort destination, appealing the Ritz-Carlton Nikko and historic Nikko Kanaya Hotel as well as SPACIA X.
