Shibuya City Tourism Association in Tokyo has begun providing a special logo and poster of ‘SHIBUYA♡HACHI’ for free to encourage visitors to keep manners and encourage them to have responsible behavior ahead of Halloween.
Shibuya suffers from troubles with visitors’ manners, such as drinking or smoking on the streets, littering or inappropriate usage of public toilets, not only in the Halloween week but also daily because of over-tourism,
The Association launched ‘Sustainable Shibuya Project’ in September 2023.
With the tagline of ‘ENJOY & RESPECT SHIBUYA,’ Shibuya expects that visitors enjoy staying with respects to keep Shibuya brand together for next visitors.
