JTB, JTB Information System and Nurve have jointly demonstrated customer services using VR terminal ‘CREWL’ in 12 retail ships in Kyushu since August 20 2018. The VR terminal allows a customer to see inside of a hotel with 360 degrees VR image. JTB expects that the new service will enable JTB staff to propose a hotel a customer looks for.
The CREWL contains rooms, restaurants, pools, lounges or appearances of 85 hotels in Hawaii, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Bali and Guam, which reach about 400 contents in total. JTB plans to add Singapore in the available contents in September this year and then increase hotels and destinations further.
